Exploring the Landscape for Breeding and Training of Ceremonial Carriage Horses

The educational trail will take you through the Landscape for the Breeding and Training of Ceremonial Carriage Horses in Kladruby nad Labem, which was included on the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage List in 2019. 

Take a walk along the path that leads to the home of the Kladruber horses – a landscape of meadows, pastures, ancient alleys, forests, blind branches of the Elbe river, irrigation ditches, historic buildings, and park landscape elements. The educational circuit is approximately five kilometers long, and we have prepared twelve stops for you along the way. You will learn about the history and present of the Landscape for the Breeding and Training of Ceremonial Carriage Horses in Kladruby nad Labem and experience its uniqueness first-hand.   • The circuit starts at the information center of the National Stud Farm in Kladruby nad Labem
  • The route includes travel on unpaved roads, so it is not suitable for walking with a pram or stroller
  • Before starting the educational circuit, we recommend downloading the accompanying application
  • We ask trail visitors to comply with the visitor rules: Do not pet or feed horses, do not enter fenced areas, and do not dispose of rubbish outside of designated receptacles.
